Down the road from Chekika Park is the remains of an abandoned building at the end of a long road..   Will, KC4MOO says this was nicknamed the 'hole in the wall.'  A hole in the wall kept getting larger until the building was totally torn down.   This was a missile base during the Cold War.  While it's totally open today, I'm sure that it was a high security location at the peak of the Cold War.
